Job description

New Hope Food Industries Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of Polar Puffs & Cakes Pte Ltd.

The Production Assistant contributes to food manufacturing operations by setting up the assigned workstations and handling the equipment within the manufacturing plant to prepare raw materials, form food products and packaging. The Production Assistant is expected to adhere to food manufacturing requirements, food safety parameters and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that the food products manufactured are free from contaminants and safe for human consumption.

• Set up equipment and work stations for daily production operations
• Check equipment parameters meet process requirements and conduct routine equipment inspection
• Operate equipment and machinery in food manufacturing lines
• Monitor performance of food manufacturing equipment and raise report for any improper functions
• Meet production work orders
• Check and ensure accuracy of food quantity, quality and materials are in accordance to production SOPs
• Record manufacturing process and food safety standard records forms (Eg. critical control point (CCP), product specification
• Clean and sanitise workstations, equipment and maintain equipment hygiene requirements as defined in SOPs
• Apply food manufacturing standards and SOPs related to safety and hygiene policies and procedures
• Comply with workplace security and regulations
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Superior

Requirements:

• Minimum Secondary education and/ or WSQ qualification
• Relevant experience in food manufacturing is preferred
• Able to carry heavy load, work long standing hours and under cold/ hot environment
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Work 5.5-day shift and must be willing to perform repetitive tasks
