Main purpose of the job
Responsible for the area sanitation, operation of dryer equipment and perform tasks, including manual tasks, efficiently and effectively meeting or exceeding all company objectives, requiremetns and policies.
Key outputs
- Perform quality and monitoring checks on the product and equipment to ensure compliance of systems, specifications and procedures during the operation of the line. To take ownership in gaining knowledge and demonstrating the expected Environmental protection, Health and Safety attitude and behavior at the workplace.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained clean and meeting highest sanitary standards. Be knowledgeable with applicable Company Quality Standards, procedures and guidelines. To ensure continuous compliance to GMP in designated areas of responsibilities and to immediately report all observations of GMP non-conformances.
- Act as back-up to the Supervisor’s duties, in the absent of the Dry Process Shift Supervisor.
- Ensure product quality as per company standards.
- Ensure production targets are met on a daily basis and that product yields are achieved as per standard.
- Participate in projects to improve the quality, efficiency, cost and safety of the Dry Process process.
- Notifies Senior / Production Supervisor (Dry Process) immediately of any events or conditions which put at risk the company objectives, requirements and policies including quality, safety and environmental related issues.
- Perform tasks and other duties including manual tasks as required and/or as directed by supervisor.
Key experiences
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or pharmaceutical industry.
Secondary education, GCE N / O / A, NTC / ITC / NITEC or equivalent. - Computer literate.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
