We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assembler/Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building sub-assemblies, handling components and parts, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow safety protocols, report hazards, and participate in safety initiatives.
- Assemble sub-components and parts according to technical instructions and blueprints.
- Handle and manage components and parts efficiently to ensure smooth production flow.
- Perform basic wiring, soldering, and cable management tasks at sub-assembly level.
- Inspect and test sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and report any mechanical, electrical, or assembly issues.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and test results.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and reporting shortages.
- Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and calibrated.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace by following 5S principles.
- Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve processes and resolve challenges.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and Kaizen.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Secondary school education or equivalent.
- No prior work experience required, but any hands-on experience in a production or assembly environment is a plus.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Basic wiring, soldering, and cable management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
- Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques, tools, and technologies.
- Must be willing to work in a 12-hour rotating shift.
