Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assembler/Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building sub-assemblies, handling components and parts, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Follow safety protocols, report hazards, and participate in safety initiatives.

· Assemble sub-components and parts according to technical instructions and blueprints.

· Handle and manage components and parts efficiently to ensure smooth production flow.

· Perform basic wiring, soldering, and cable management tasks at sub-assembly level.

· Inspect and test sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.

· Identify and report any mechanical, electrical, or assembly issues.

· Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and test results.

· Assist in managing inventory levels and reporting shortages.

· Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and calibrated.

· Maintain an organized and efficient workspace by following 5S principles.

· Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve processes and resolve challenges.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and Kaizen.

· Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

· Secondary school education or equivalent.

· No prior work experience required, but any hands-on experience in a production or assembly environment is a plus.

Skills

· Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly.

· Basic wiring, soldering, and cable management skills.

· Ability to read and interpret work instructions.

· Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
