Job description

A Production Administrator provides administrative support to a production department, ensuring smooth operations and accurate documentation. They manage production schedules, records, and interdepartmental communication, while also supporting procurement processes and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management:Develop, manage, and update production schedules, ensuring all team members are aware of deadlines and rehearsal times.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records, including contracts, schedules, and contact lists.
  • Documentation:Prepare and manage production-related documents, such as labels and manufacturing documents.
  • Communication:Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring information is accurately conveyed.
  • Inventory Management:Monitor and manage production inventory, including raw materials, finished goods, and packaging.
  • Procurement:Support the procurement process, including ordering materials and arranging transport.
  • Data Entry:Collect and enter production data, including raw material withdrawal records and finished goods production.
  • Quality Control:Ensure production output data are accurate and perform monitoring checks, as well as verifying compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordination:Coordinate with production staff, other departments, and external vendors.
  • Administrative Support:Provide general administrative support, such as answering phones, managing calendars, and booking meetings.
  • Budget Management:Assist in managing the production budget, including handling invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
