Job summary

Qualcomm Global Trading Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to work on Fuse and Security IP across the project lifecycle, from Pre-Silicon to High Volume Manufacturing.

You will troubleshoot silicon failures, develop testing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve fuse bring-up on silicon. The role requires 5+ years in silicon validation or bring-up, plus a CS/EE degree and programming experience in Java and C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE with 2+ years hardware engineering experience.
• 5+ years silicon validation or bring-up experience.
• Experience with Java or C++ software test development.

Responsibilities

• Work on Fuse and Security IP during the whole project phase.
• From Pre-Silicon to High Volume Manufacturing phase.
• Support High Volume Manufacturing requirements.
• Triage and debug failures on Silicon.
• Support Test issues, Failure mode analysis and yield issues analysis related to Fuse IP.

• Knowledgeable on ATE Platform like Advantest 93K, Teradyne UltraFlex
• Experience with software programming/test method development in Java, C++

Preferred Requirements

• Strong understanding of Java programming.
• Strong understanding of Fuse Sense and Programming, and Cryptography concepts in Silicon.
• Strong in root cause analysis fundamentals and attention to details
• Experience in Digital Testing and design verification.
• Experience in Test development for validation of Fuse on Silicon.
• Experience in development of test vectors for tester bring up.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• OR
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• OR
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
