Product Specialist / Strategist, AVP

Who we are looking for

State Street is looking for someone to join its Product Specialist / Strategist, AVP. The person would be responsible for assisting in the development and roll out of new trading analytics tools for State Street’s agency execution business.

The person will have a background in computer science including development, data management and change management. Core responsibilities will be coding and development of analytics to support State Street’s agency execution business as well as development of data visualization and client reporting tools.

What you will be responsible for

• Join a great team that is building a new analytics platform to support our agency execution business
• Source market and vendor driven data and develop tools to consume, analyze and present data to clients in a platform
• Source execution data from our platforms and vendors and develop insights and visualization for client post trade analytics in a platform
• Develop transaction cost analytics, portfolio strategy tools and associated analytics to facilitate client requirements

• Application development - C#, F#, python modules in .NET
• Database - SQL Server, Oracle
• Development Patterns – Object-oriented programming, MVVM pattern, Entity framework in .NET, NHibernate
• Front End Development – XAML, WPF, HTML, Angular JS
• Report writing tools e.g. Tableau
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• High level of attention to detail
• Logical and dynamic thinker
• Organized, efficient and conscientious mindset

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Advanced training in finance
• Min 3 years' experience in financial markets
