Job description

  • Develop further as a professional sales representative by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, with general knowledge of the medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
  • Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific regularly and as planned to promote products and services to achieve sales targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly), as agreed with the Manager.
  • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under the general supervision of the Manager.
  • Provide continuous technical training and support directly to customers in cathlabs, operation theaters, and interventional radiology departments.
  • With limited instructions from the Manager, plan and develop the market for existing and new products in line with divisional goals and objectives, through execution and optimization of available tools (e.g., consignment).
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in cathlabs.
  • Cultivate a wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing departments, and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report market and business feedback to the Manager and/or others on a monthly and yearly basis using all available support tools.
  • Represent Boston Scientific's values and integrity.
  • May lead a project team of moderate scope upon request.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business/scientific specialization or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related fields.
  • Strong ability to engage and interact with customers in various settings, including tradeshows, conferences, market research, advisory boards, and field interactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.
  • Availability to attend cases and provide support.
