Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a sales representative for telemarketing to achieve sales targets and handle customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will have insurance certifications and strong persuasion skills. This role requires someone who is independent, organized, and able to thrive under pressure. Competitive salary of up to $3500 per month.

Qualifications

  • Must have relevant insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI and HI.

Working Hours: Mon – Fri: 9am to 6pm

Salary: Up to $3500 per month (with certs & experience)

Job Description
  • Achieve sales target KPIs, call quality and operational standards;
  • Identify opportunities for cross‑selling and up‑selling;
  • Handle and follow up with customer enquiries with confidence;
  • Convert leads provided by the bank to sales through telemarketing activities;
  • Ensure calls are conducted with full adherence to regulations and in line with Quality Assurance standards;
  • Liaise with internal departments on policy fulfillment;
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks;
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / Diploma with relevant experience
  • Comfortable with outbound calls and stakeholder interactions
  • Relevant insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI and HI
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Patient and resilient to handle rejection and objections
  • Independent, organized, and positive worker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good team player with ability to multitask and meets high service standards;
