A leading company is looking for a Product Specialist in Singapore to drive commercial execution within the medical device sector. This role involves implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and showing product knowledge to ensure successful market uptake of new products. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of sales experience in medical or pharmaceutical fields.
The Company is entering a phase of accelerated commercial and geographical growth, with over five strategic launches planned in the ethical and medical device sectors over the next 12 months. In this fast paced and dynamic landscape, the Product Specialist, Ethical team plays a critical role in driving commercial execution and supporting the achievement of key business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Ensure successfullaunch and uptake of new product(s).
Implement and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets.
Develop, maintain and strengthen customer relationships by building trust and credibility.
Implement and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales target
Consistently track sales based on business opportunities, sales leads and quotations; follow through on the purchasing process from start to finish.
Regularly update commercial team with field intelligence and competitor activity.
Development of territorial action plan and execution of the plan.
Effectively communicate product information to build customers confidence and adoption.
Functional Skills
Excellent listening and good presentation skills.
Experience in private and public hospital/clinic environment in Singapore.
Knowledgeable in the medical diagnostic and therapeutic environment and its stakeholders.
Proven capabilities in selling techniques and able to demonstrate it during business / product promotion to purchasers and end users.
Experience in formulary listing, product training and marketing activities will be an advantage.
Good skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Job requirements
At least 3 years’ experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales.
Sales experience in diagnostic or pharmaceutical industry engaging oncologists and pathologists is a plus.
Possess a valid class 3 driving license and own vehicle.
