Job description

Product responsibility

  • Main portfolio responsibility: Ventilator product, e.g. Respiratory Therapist. May expand to other products eg, Patient Monitor Solution, Cardiology etc
  • Provide support to distributor / NK channel partner and NK sales team on all product and application related requirement.
  • Attend to all product related enquiry.
  • Plan and provide regular product update, product, and application training to distributors / customer of the assigned customer account / territory / region.
  • Provide consultation on product configuration, solution, and clinical application to NK channel partner/distributor of the assigned territory / region.
  • Provide consultation on product configuration, solution and clinical application to customers/end users including clinicians, doctors, Biomed etc.
  • Provide product demonstrations, product training and educate customer about the features and benefits of NK product and solution.
  • Support distributor on projects, tender specification to review, propose solution to comply with the project and tender requirements.

Sales responsibility

  • Full responsibility on the sales process for assigned local customers account / territory in Singapore.
  • Main portfolio sales responsibility: Ventilator product, e.g. Respiratory Therapist. May expand to other products eg, Patient Monitor Solution, Cardiology etc
  • Support and drive sales activities for Singapore market and assigned customer account.
  • Provide product demonstration, presentation and solution to customers/end users, clinician, doctors and etc.
  • Work closely with Product Specialist on sales related activities, customer enquiry, product presentation etc.
  • In-charge and ownership of local tender and for assigned customer account, this includes tender proposal, specification review, tender submission, and related tender enquiry and etc.
  • Work with NK commercial team, IT and engineering team to provide a total solution to customer/NK channel partner and for sales project.

Post-sales responsibility

  • Provide end user product and application training. This includes training schedule planning, preparation of training materials, end user quick guide and any other materials / requirement from the customers.
  • For Singapore sales. The product specialist is to provide support for project delivery and installation. This includes product setting/parameters and configuration set-up as according to customer requirement.
  • For Singapore sales. The product specialist is to work and coordinate with NK IT / engineering team, logistic team and commercial team for the product commissioning and delivery according to customer requirement.

Product Sales / Marketing

  • Promote product and services within an assigned geographic area and / or specific customers account to meet NK business objectives.
  • Support field marketing event. This includes exhibition, trade show and seminar/product event etc.
  • Prepare regular work report, this includes trip report, monthly project / work report and etc.
  • Keep up-to-date on market trends, customer requirement and provide regular update on competitors, market and industry trends.
  • Be the ‘voice of customer’ and provide customer / market feedback to NK commercial team/Global product team in NK, Japan
  • Plan and support launch of new products in assigned account / geographical areas.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and selling related skills to provide exceptional support to differentiate NK from competitors.
  • Undertake any duties as required or directed as vital for achieving overall company goals.

Job requirement

  • At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in the medical device business.
  • Candidate with experience in Ventilator product experience. E.g. Respiratory Therapist preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Nursing preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective product presentations and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrates resilience, resourcefulness, ability to learn and adaptability. Able to deliver result under pressure, possess the ability to handle work stress.
  • Strong teammate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
