Product Specialist based in Singapore

Role Overview: The Product Specialist, focusing on Surgical Instruments, plays a vital role in supporting surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, handling instruments, and ensuring the availability of equipment. They manage sterile instrumentation, adhere to strict aseptic protocols, and collaborate closely with surgical teams.

Additional responsibilities include equipment setup and maintenance, emergency response training, staying updated on medical advancements, and demonstrating precision and attention to detail to enhance patient outcomes.

What will you be doing?
  1. Attend assigned hospital at least one hour prior to each surgery.
  2. Ensure the availability and correct setup of Smith & Nephew products and instruments.
  3. Place accurate products in the operating room to prevent unnecessary exits during surgery.
  4. Check sterilization and working condition of products before surgery.
  5. Follow the hospital's scrub policy for surgical preparation.
  6. Count and document instruments and materials before and after surgery.
  7. Handle and use all products and instruments accurately.
  8. Clean and organize instruments after use, ensuring proper return to logistics.
  9. Inspect instruments and returned products for damage and report issues promptly.
  10. Complete UID forms with pricing details for billing.
  11. Report usage of Smith & Nephew products by surgeons and hospitals.
  12. Provide feedback on products and competitors.
  13. Act responsibly to ensure safety for self and others.
  14. Align with safety, health, and security policies.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
What will you need to be successful?

Success requires technical knowledge, soft skills, and understanding of both business and service aspects. Candidates should have:
