Job summary

Google Singapore is seeking an Information Security Engineer for early career. You will help protect Google’s systems by building automation, performing threat modeling, and reinforcing defenses across web, mobile, and API surfaces.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to respond to incidents, improve security tooling, and scale risk reduction efforts for Google's products and users in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 1 year of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
• 1 year of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop agents and infrastructure to automate vulnerability handling, triage, and conduct variant analysis to reduce manual workloads.
• Contribute to a unified vulnerability analysis pipeline and dashboarding system to provide insights into emerging threats.
• Contribute to the Singapore-based triage and remediation rotation, ensuring effective vulnerability reproduction, severity assessment, and bug filing for incoming security reports.
