A leading company in technical products is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead client engagements and drive B2B sales in Singapore. The role involves promoting products, managing a team, and ensuring excellent customer relations while achieving sales targets. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in sales management within hardware or chemical domains, with a strong focus on business development.
• Lead and source potential clients, converting them into Alchem’s distributors/customers in Singapore and other regional markets.
• Actively promote all Alchem’s products, which may include door-to-door sales and promotional activities.
• Plan and sell B2B technical products to commercial, industrial, and oil & gas industries.
• Provide technical solutions to clients, conduct regular visits, and engage in ongoing business development activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, providing prompt support while maintaining strong relationships with both existing and new clients.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Manage transactions and inventory with local hardware shops.
• Actively participate in marketing activities and manage sales platforms, including online inquiries.
• Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
• Lead product configuration efforts to meet customer needs and facilitate the resolution of customer complaints.
• Conduct regular sales visits to new clients and actively participate in business development initiatives.
• Achieve sales targets.
• Generate quotations and sales orders in SAP.
• Provide monthly sales forecasts for all assigned clients and prospective customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned while ensuring compliance with ISO and OSHA standards.
• Lead, manage, and motivate assigned team members.
• Develop clear goals aligned with management’s direction.
• Be an excellent team player and mentor, fostering collaboration with internal teams and business partners.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product, hardware, or regional channel sales management.
• Minimum diploma in business, engineering, chemical studies, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in hardware or chemical product sales is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Preferred skill set: Self-driven, resourceful, with strong problem-solving abilities, business acumen, project management skills, and proficient conversational and written English.
