A leading company in the hardware and chemical industry is seeking a sales professional based in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing potential clients, promoting products, and maintaining strong client relationships. A minimum of a Diploma is required along with relevant sales experience in the industry.
Responsibilities:
· Source potential clients, converting them into Alchem’s distributors/customers in Singapore and other regional markets.
· Actively promote all Alchem’s products, which may include door-to-door sales and promotional activities.
· Plan and sell B2B technical products to commercial, industrial, and oil & gas industries.
· Provide technical solutions to clients, conduct regular visits, and engage in ongoing business development activities.
· Serve as the primary point of contact, providing prompt support while maintaining strong relationships with both existing and new clients.
· Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure seamless product delivery.
· Manage transactions and inventory with local hardware shops.
· Actively participate in marketing activities and manage sales platforms, including online inquiries.
· Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
· Lead product configuration efforts to meet customer needs and facilitate the resolution of customer complaints.
· Conduct regular sales visits to new clients and actively participate in business development initiatives.
· Achieve sales targets.
· Generate quotations and sales orders in SAP.
· Provide monthly sales forecasts for all assigned clients and prospective customers.
· Perform other duties as assigned while ensuring compliance with ISO and OSHA standards.
Requirements:
· Min Diploma in Business/Engineering/chemical or equivalent.
· At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the Hardware / chemical Product Sales related field is preferred.
· Proficient in MS Excels/words/PowerPoint/Project
· Preferred skill sets: Self Driven, resourceful, problem-solving nature, strong business acumen, project management and good conversational/writing skills in English.
