A leading travel agency in Singapore seeks a Tour Package Developer. This role involves creating diverse tour packages for various markets, designing itineraries, and providing staff training. Ideal candidates have a diploma in Hospitality Management and exhibit excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Develop New Tour Packages
Create a diverse range of China tour packages for both non-Muslim and Muslim customers under the CWH brand.
Ensure tour packages align with current market demands and company standards.
Design Tour Itineraries:
Develop detailed itineraries in Chinese & English version.
Create compelling PowerPoint presentations for marketing and internal briefings.
Content Management:
Upload new itineraries, descriptions, and images into the website
Costing & Operations Coordination:
Prepare accurate tour costings using the company’s costing template
Submit finalized costings to the operations team for Outbound Booking (OB) creation
Staff Training & Support:
Conduct regular training sessions for counter staff to enhance their destination knowledge.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to counter staff as required.
Market Understanding:
Study and stay updated on Singapore’s non-Muslim and Muslim market trends and travel preferences.
Vendor & Partner Relations:
Build and nurture relationships with airlines to negotiate better airfares.
Establish strong connections with local land operators for competitive tour pricing.
Competitive Market Analysis:
Conduct regular market research to analyze competitor offerings.
Adjust pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
Collaboration with Operations Team:
Work closely with operations colleagues to ensure tours run smoothly and meet customer satisfaction standards.
Requirements:
Min Diploma in Hospitality Management or related to travel
Enjoy interacting with people, outgoing, friendly and energetic personality with excellent customer service skills.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Have the ability to create a rapport with people of different ages and different cultures.
Strong interest in countries histories, geographies, general customs and cultures.
Willing to work on weekend and public holidays
Those with a working knowledge of Tour & Travel Industry will have an advantage
