Job Description

Role Overview:

The Product Owner will oversee the end-to-end delivery and operations of data analytics products and solutions. Acting as both a strategist and liaison, this role bridges business objectives with technical requirements, driving the roadmap and requirements for analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and lead the prioritization of deliveries in alignment with business goals.
  • Proactively consult on analytics solutions with the support of the BI and Analytics team, fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure the data architecture supports business needs and work with Data Analysts to deliver actionable insights that can be effectively utilized by stakeholders.

Skills

  • Exceptional collaboration and analytical skills: adept at aligning data solutions with business needs through creative problem-solving in dynamic environments. Strong in translating data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap: Develop a strategic roadmap for analytics products, aligning initiatives with business objectives and regularly updating it based on feedback and changing priorities.
  • Gather, translate, and document requirements: Engage with stakeholders to capture business objectives, translate them into actionable requirements, and maintain clear documentation for technical teams.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of analytics products: Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions from design, through development and testing to deployment.
  • Go-to-market strategy: Oversee change management, drive user adoption, and monitor the performance of analytics products to ensure deliverables meet user expectations and maximize business value.
  • UX/UI design: Ability to develop detailed wireframes and UX/UI designs using tools like Figma, enhancing the user experience and ensuring functional design implementation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years in Product Management/Business Analysis: Proven track record in managing product lifecycle and requirement documentation for analytics products.
  • Consulting and Business Transformation: Experience in providing expert advice on analytics and data-driven projects, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement in processes.
