Qualifications

• CSPO certification is mandatory.
• Prior experience in maritime/shipping industry is essential, preferably within container shipping operations.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in complex Agile/Scrum software projects, Product Ownership or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience or good understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) systems and related business processes.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive MDM product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Gather, analyse and translate business needs into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Define product roadmaps, prioritise requirements and manage product backlogs for timely delivery of initiatives.
• Serve as the liaison between business users, IT, Engineering and QA to facilitate solution development and implementation.
• Lead business process re-engineering and transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee project scope, milestones and UAT to ensure solutions meet expectations.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and promote product adoption to maximise business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Ownership & MDM: Drive Master Data Management (MDM) product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Business Requirements & Analysis: Engage stakeholders to gather, analyse and translate business needs into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Product Roadmap & Backlog Management: Define product roadmaps, prioritise requirements and manage product backlogs to ensure timely delivery of business-critical initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between business users, IT, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to facilitate seamless solution development and implementation.
• Digital Transformation & Process Improvement: Lead business process re-engineering, change management and transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Project Delivery & UAT: Oversee project scope, delivery milestones, stakeholder dependencies and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Product Adoption: Drive stakeholder alignment, manage expectations and promote successful product adoption to maximise business value.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is mandatory.
• Prior experience in the maritime / shipping industry is essential, preferably within container shipping operations.
