Agridence is a Singapore based tech company that builds solutions for sustainable procurement of agri-commodities. We are building the world’s first data backed physical commodity trading platform that focuses on sustainability and traceability as well as increasing smallholders’ value. Agridence aims to digitalize and onboard the entire value stream of every tradeable commodity in the world today.

We are currently looking for a driven individual to join the Product team as a Product Owner. The Product team at Agridence is the nexus of the Company and takes the lead in developing the Company’s products to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for end-to-end development of assigned product modules
• Collect requirements and work with design team to develop solutions to meet users’ needs
• Translate business requirements into product requirements/ user stories
• Work closely with scrum team throughout the development process
• Ensure the development team, understand the priority and product specifications to deliver a quality product within the timelines
• Manage and partner with stakeholders in any product related engagement
• Maintains development roadmap for assigned product module
• Provide operational support for user support tickets including issue identification and bug prioritisation

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in product management and/or development role
• High level of ownership in managing products
• Possesses knowledge and experience using agile methodology
• Hands-on experience working with both business and technical teams
• Experience in understanding business requirements and translating it to user stories
• Strong analytical skills and proven ability of data-driven decision making
• Strong organizational acumen – ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration
• Comfortable in an ambiguous environment
• Good understanding of voluntary sustainability certifications and sustainability reporting will be an advantage
• Experience in managing projects will be an advantage
• Experience in using Jira and Confluence will be an advantage
• Able to write simple scripts or codes will be an advantage
• Understand or experience with ISO27001 will advantage
