A leading company in the construction equipment sector is seeking a Marketing Specialist to drive product development and innovation. This role involves collaborating with R&D, creating compelling marketing content, and analyzing market data to enhance product positioning. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in related fields along with relevant experience in marketing technical products, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development Support
Collaborate closely with R&D and engineering teams to understand product specifications and unique selling points
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation or improvement
Translate technical product features into compelling value propositions for brochures, presentations, and digital campaigns
Assist in new product launches by coordinating pre-launch planning, collateral creation, and go-to-market strategies
Provide feedback from customers, sales teams, and market data to inform future product enhancements
Marketing & Asset Production
Develop marketing content that clearly articulates product performance, durability, and application benefits
Coordinate the design and production of multimedia materials: product manuals, spec sheets, videos, brochures, and website content
Work with trade show planners to showcase new product lines effectively, including booth design and product highlight displays
Maintain consistency in product documentation across all marketing touchpoints
Analytics & Market Alignment
Analyze campaign performance data and market trends to ensure product positioning remains competitive and relevant
Track product-specific KPIs (e.g., feature adoption rates, product feedback, inquiry volume) to support data-driven decisions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction industry technologies and equipment trends
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's in Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, or a related field
1–5 years of experience in a marketing role involving technical/industrial products
Strong understanding of product lifecycle and B2B marketing principles
Ability to convert complex technical information into accessible marketing content
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including experience working with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and CMS platforms
Knowledge of construction equipment or heavy machinery industry is a strong plus
