It enables sellers to automate customer interactions, answer buyer inquiries, and enhance the shopping experience seamlessly. Beyond responding to customer questions, our chatbot acts as a customizable shop assistant, allowing sellers to tailor interactions based on their business needs. Additionally, it provides engagement tools to help buyers discover the right products and make more informed purchasing decisions. As we continue to innovate, we are expanding our team to build the next generation of intelligent commerce solutions.

In this role, you will develop and enhance our chatbot, leveraging Large Language Model (LLM) technology to improve the e-commerce experience. You will drive project execution and work closely with data scientists to iterate on LLM algorithms for improved performance. Additionally, you will research AI advancements, explore new product applications, and develop strategies to enhance chatbot capabilities in e-commerce. With a focus on optimizing the buyer experience in the pre-sale stage, you will help create seamless, engaging interactions that guide purchasing decisions. Success in this role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize AI’s impact.

Job Description:
  • Own end-to-end product development of Shop Chatbot features, driving ideation, impact analysis, priority definition, system design, and development while overseeing post-launch performance through data analysis for continuous improvements.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps, applying tailored strategies to refine product positioning and performance, and preparing product proposals to drive informed decision-making.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and project timelines by developing detailed project plans, proactively mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless collaboration and communication across product teams, engineers, designers, product ops, and analysts.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to develop advanced LLM recognition and solution models, buyer targeting models, predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and search capabilities to enhance chatbot effectiveness.
  • Work closely with business teams to develop features aligned with business goals, helping stakeholders understand the product, communicate its value, and define strategic priorities together.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable education institution. Preferably major in Computer Science, or a related applied quantitative field, or experience in lieu
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effectively communicate complex business/technical information with different audiences verbally or in writing
  • Self-driven, positive attitude and team player
  • Experience in using data science and machine learning to solve problems
  • Prior product management experience or domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Chatbot technology, recommendation systems, user segmentation & targeting, and user experience optimization.
  • Proficient in English, and conversational in Mandarin in order to collaborate with stakeholders based in China
  • Both junior and senior product management roles are available
