An established industry player in luxury travel is seeking a dynamic professional to lead the growth of their Cruise/Rail business. This role involves developing innovative products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will collaborate with marketing and IT teams to enhance product offerings and drive strategic decisions through data analysis. Cruise/Rail Business
Develop plan to grow Cruise/Rail business and establish company’s preeminent position in the high-end market.
Manage supplier’s relationship - negotiate with the cruises/trains to maximize commissions.
Train and support itinerary planning and sales & service effort of the Travel Specialist (e.g., back up itinerary planning, etc.).
Develop and manage all cruises/rail products including presentation on websites and travel reservation system.
Work with IT team to maintain the above-required information within the Travel Management system.
Work with Marketing team for website itineraries, projects, regular EDMs, events, and product launches.
Product statistics analysis to support Product Director for strategic decision making.
Gather feedback from the Sales Team on the suppliers' services.
Hotels, DMCs, and Suppliers
Constantly review & analyze business volumes to our suppliers and make recommendations according to business requirements & supplier’s service quality.
Manage and develop select suppliers’ relationship to ensure & improve quality of service provided to us.
Build a mutually meaningful relationship in terms of rates, marketing support, and training/fam trips.
Job Requirements:
Experience in Product Development related to the cruise and rail luxury travel industry.
Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and creating unique memorable guest experiences.
Excellent operations, communication/project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex logistics.
Thorough understanding of the luxury travel market, industry trends, and best practices.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and drive financial performance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests, team members, and external partners.
