Job summary

SGB is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of the bank's platform and client-facing products. You will coordinate with backend and frontend teams, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions for retail and corporate clients.

The role requires strong vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, and fluency in Mandarin and English. You will contribute to research, design, testing, and rollout of technology-driven banking products.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of product management experience in card, payment, FX, AML or antifraud domains.
• Experience managing vendor solutions and related projects.
• Able to discuss technology design in detail with developers or vendors.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, user-centric technology.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing the platform and client-facing product solutions.
• Conduct research and evaluate new technologies and vendors to support innovation, system enhancement.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, information security policies, regulatory and risk standards.
• Support product implementation with development teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage discussions with vendors on solutions.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate preventive or corrective actions.
• Collaborate with compliance, legal, risk and business teams to deliver compliant tech.
• Participate in product testing, rollout planning and user adoption training.
