In this role, you will
- Act as the voice of the customer in the definition of innovative digital solution to one of key problems in ClimateTech
- Work with product design to gain an understanding of user personas, pain points and journeys
- Iterate and improve the core product by synthesizing product learnings from proof-of-concepts into backlog features
- Provide insights into product, technology and market trends in the developing space of carbon management
- Develop feature lists, user stories, and roadmaps to drive our product development
- Manage collaboration with 3rd party services and resources where required
- Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, A/B testing, stakeholder interviews
- Be a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible
- Monitor and report on product KPIs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to scope, design, concept test and deliver innovative solutions
- Assist with the development of business cases and operating plans
- Develop materials to communicate progress to partners and clients
- Assist in the development of new business proposals
You should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in a technical discipline (ex: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering), MBA or other advanced degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Product Manager with exposure to building enterprise-grade/ B2B/ data-driven products
- Prior experience working with a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong understanding of contemporary digital product development platforms, technologies and industries
- Experience launching at least one digital product successfully and bringing it to scale
- A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love
- A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills to influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
- The ability to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding and service-oriented environment
- An ability to think strategically and creatively
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
- The ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines
- Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Even better if you have:
- Experience working with carbon management products or expertise in the sustainability and ESG space
- Familiarity with supplier engagement strategies and supply chain ESG risk management
- Experience working with global and culturally-diverse teams
