A leading company seeks a seasoned professional to take a lead role in product development. This position requires strong engineering fundamentals to optimize product designs while collaborating across teams, ensuring alignment with product attribute targets, and establishing architecture standards critical for success.
1. Responsibilities
· Take a lead role in the development and will be responsible for maturing this layout through to production feasibility.
· Bring cross-functional teams together and use engineering fundamentals to negotiate and deliver optimized solutions that meet the product attribute targets.
· Collaborate successfully with both internal and external stakeholders.
· Define the architecture of new projects or important IT evolutions in agreement with the architecture and operability standards.
· Deliver position papers to decide between several Architecture options.
· Define the Information Technology architecture standards (applications, infrastructure, data, integration, security).
· Develop broad knowledge about current "AS-IS" and future "TO- BE" product features.
· Work with Product architecture team in planning and execution of new product releases.
· Work with product teams in the solution engineering efforts.
· Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution.
· Assist technical team with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge.
· Carry out regular technology scans and propose solutions on technologic innovations.
2. What we are looking for
· Demonstratable experience in leading product integration reviews and driving optimization studies to ensure design solutions are aligned with product attribute targets.
· Robust understanding of the engineering and design development process for large, complex products in a multi-disciplinary organization.
· Experience with mockup designs to support user experience studies.
· Experience supporting virtual builds, physical prototype builds, and pre-series production.
· Experience with product lifecycle management tools is an advantage.
