Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and multidisciplinary Product Manager & Designer to drive the end-to-end lifecycle of PylonAI’s digital products, from strategy and UX design to delivery and iteration. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product thinking, user experience design, and real-world operations. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and clients to deliver intuitive, high-impact solutions for the Built Environment sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with business objectives and real-user needs.
- Prioritise product roadmap based on user feedback, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to translate business requirements into functional, visually appealing, and scalable web applications.
2. UX/UI Design
- Lead the UX design process from discovery to wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups.
- Create user flows, prototypes, and visuals using Figma (or equivalent) to communicate design intent.
- Champion design systems and consistency across product suite.
3. Customer & Market Insights
- Conduct discovery sessions with contractors, developers, and regulators to understand workflows, pain points, and aspirations.
- Translate domain-specific insights into actionable product features with strong UX sensibilities.
4. Execution & Agile Delivery
- Drive agile product development and collaborate with engineers and operations during implementation.
- Write clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate QA cycles and internal UAT to uphold product quality
5. Go-to-Market and Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches, demos, and onboarding.
- Monitor product adoption, gather user feedback, and iterate based on usage data and field feedback.
- Use analytics to inform design and product decisions.
6. Internal Leadership
- Be the internal voice of the user and advocate for simplicity and usability in product design.
- Support the COO in aligning product roadmaps with company-wide objective and key results (OKRs) and investor expectations.
Requirements:
- Customer-first mentality with a high dose of empathy and passion for the Built Environment.
- 3-6 years of experience in product management and product design, ideally in B2B SaaS, IoT, construction technology, or industrial software.
- Proficiency in design and product tools (e.g. Figma, Jira, Notion, analytics dashboards).
- Proven ability to translate complex user needs into clean, functional UI/UX.
- Familiarity with IoT platforms or construction tech is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with both frontline users and executives.
- Ability to balance big picture thinking with hands-on execution.
- Background or keen interest in the Built Environment (e.g. construction, real-estate, infrastructure) is highly preferred.
- Degree in engineering, design, computer science, business, or a related field.
