About the Role

  • This Product Expert role involves executing activities within the Product Expert function, which provides technical solutions. The role also includes consolidating and sharing in-depth knowledge within the CI&TS community.
  • Coordinate and support factory teams on commercialization and technical topics related to their projects.
  • Coordinate and liaise with sourcing and suppliers on new raw and packaging materials to ensure supply and support cost optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end new product development, from receiving technical briefs from Customer PD/Country PD Lead to driving lab sample development and scaling up industrial trials with the CSD team for commercial delivery.
  • Provide technical support and organize product training for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support factory teams on commercialization and technical topics related to their projects.
  • Coordinate and liaise with sourcing and suppliers on new raw and packaging materials to ensure supply and support cost optimization initiatives.
  • Scope includes SEA region - Chocolate FM, GM, Cocoa, regional trials, sample coordination, and cross-country support for production plants like SG01 and subcontractors within SEA.

About You

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or an equivalent background.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in product development, applications, or processes within the food industry.
  • Fluent in Business English; knowledge of SEA local languages such as Mandarin and Thai is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% within Southeast Asia.
  • Good knowledge of compounds, chocolate, and related applications such as confectionery, ice cream, and bakery is an advantage.
  • Experience in Project Management and Stakeholder Management.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient with working tools (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior staff or technicians.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in sales or client interaction.
