Job summary
A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Manager to lead marketing activities, promote products to contractors, and manage P&L performance. Ideal candidates will possess a Diploma in Building/Architecture/Mechanical/Civil Engineering and have at least 4-5 years of relevant sales experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of sales experience, preferably in building/construction/technical products.
- Strong technical knowledge of in-house products is essential.
- Ability to work independently within defined procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote company’s products and services to building contractors, specialist contractors and building materials dealers to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Organizing marketing activities, product presentation and product specifications to architects, designers, developers, and contractors
- Responsible for the product line’s P&L performance, treating it as a standalone business unit
- Liaise with product principal to maintain communication and rapport
- Product inventory management and liaise with principals / suppliers on shipment and delivery of goods
- Prepare yearly sales budget for product
- Provide technical support and advice to product representatives, customers and contractors
- Prepare product costings and sales pricings, quotations, and tenders
- Provide product training to Product Representatives
- May be expected to lead, supervise, and provide guidance to Product Representatives in their sales activities
- Assist Product Representatives on timely payment collection from customers
- Raise purchase requisition for approval
- Attend to customers’ queries, feedback and complaints
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Building/Architecture/Mechanical / Civil Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 4-5 years of sales experience, preferably in building / construction/ technical product knowledge

- Strong technical knowledge of in-house products
- Able to deal with routine tasks and perform tasks with some level of complexity
