Product Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Product Engineer to support the deployment and enablement of industrial software and point solutions across Southeast Asia. This role is based in Singapore, and you will work closely with our Product Sales team, playing a key role in delivering value-added technical support to customers and partners.

Our solutions include Skkynet Cogent DataHub, ProcessVue, and other packaged software offerings developed by our Technical team. The Product Engineer will contribute to both pre-sales and post-sales activities and serve as a technical bridge between engineering and customer-facing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Product Sales team to support technical discussions, solution proposals, and demonstrations.

• Support deployment, configuration, and integration of point solutions, including:

• Skkynet Cogent DataHub (IoT gateway & data connectivity)

• ProcessVue (alarm management software)

• Other modular software solutions packaged by our technical team

• Assist in setting up and maintaining demo environments, trial systems, and proof-of-concept implementations.

• Provide first-line technical support to customers and partners, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when needed.

• Create and maintain documentation for implementation and system configuration.

• Deliver basic training sessions to partners and end-users as part of knowledge transfer.

• Coordinate with local sales and implementation partners across Southeast Asia to ensure successful project execution.

• Continuously learn and stay up to date on product updates and new technologies.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in industrial software, IIoT, or automation systems.

• Exposure to SCADA/HMI systems, industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT), and basic networking is a plus.

• Hands-on experience in software configuration, testing, or troubleshooting.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to interface with both internal teams and external partners.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Willing to travel occasionally to support regional customers and projects.
