Take ownership for leading challenging projects

The Product Engineer is responsible for supporting Product Managers for one or multiple product families, regions, or PL. The responsibilities of this role include supporting the product go‑to‑market strategy, communicating product marketing materials to internal stakeholders, training, cost‑out projects, driving New Technology introduction in the regions, maintaining of product catalog, and supporting Product Development and Management process.

  • Providing support for the product portfolio in one or multiple regions and is the key interface between the region and Product Line teams to drive new technology introduction.
  • Coordinating and planning and execution of field tests provides key field product application support and optimizes product performance.
  • Providing technical support to Service Delivery teams in the regions for specific escalation requests.
  • Supporting service delivery in product performance investigations to determine root cause and preventative actions.
  • Communicating engineering/technical position in the region or area of product introduction.
  • Supporting product development process and execution of product management deliverables. Monitors NPR/NPI performance.
  • Following product management processes. Collaborates with other functions to support process change management.
  • Providing project management support to monitor progress of product development where required.
  • Driving initiatives to improve product performance. Interfaces with other functions to effectively coordinate metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross‑functional coordination.
  • Supporting various clients in a region. Works based on predefined contracts and frameworks.
  • Assimilating and navigating the implications of any regulations.
  • Supporting identification of carbon footprint reduction applications within Sub‑PL.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

  • Have Bachelor's from an accredited university or college.
  • Have minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Service Delivery, Technology, or Sales and Commercial.
  • Be willing to travel (>25%).
