Job summary

TALENTVUE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced professional to lead and support new product and process development from concept through to qualification.

You will develop testing protocols, assess materials and processes, and drive improvements to enhance quality, efficiency and cost. The role collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with food-contact packaging standards while supporting ongoing customer projects and digitalisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Packaging Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in product development, process engineering, materials or manufacturing; more experienced candidates may be considered for Assistant Manager.
• Experience in flexible packaging, polymers, films, adhesives, coatings or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support new product and process development from concept, trials and validation through to qualification.
• Develop testing protocols, quality checkpoints and control plans for new materials and products.
• Evaluate raw materials, suppliers and manufacturing processes.
• Drive process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency and cost.
• Support sustainable packaging initiatives.
• Troubleshoot technical and production issues with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare product specifications, test reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant food-contact packaging and quality standards.
• Support customer projects and technical discussions.
• Guide junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives.
