Job Description

The Product Developer will collaborate with buyers, designers, and international partners to develop products for UPR-owned or affiliated destination entertainment venues globally. Responsibilities include managing product development, ensuring quality standards, and working with vendors to meet safety and brand standards.

  • Work with Brand managers, buyers, and compliance teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support onboarding of new suppliers and merchandising tasks per company policies and regulations.
  • Lead product creation from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Review samples with external vendors and factories.
  • Apply manufacturing and costing parameters to products.
  • Ensure design quality and address issues during sampling and production.
  • Participate in meetings across time zones and support market trend analysis.
  • Coordinate with managers on new projects and deadlines.
  • Travel for onsite approvals and trade shows as needed.
  • Perform other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Experience in product development and sourcing, preferably in hardlines.
  • Team-oriented, creative, resourceful, and knowledgeable about product components and materials.
  • Understanding of manufacturing regulations, especially in Asia.
  • Experience from concept to delivery in product development.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Organized with good time management for multiple projects.
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
