Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a Product Designer for Consumer Products / Licensing to lead end-to-end development of licensed and in-house products, from concept and artwork to packaging, sampling, production and retail launch.

Collaborate with licensors, buyers, vendors and internal teams on licensing, brand management, merchandising and marketing activities; contribute to POS materials and promotional assets; manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Product Design, Graphic Design, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail, FMCG, consumer products, merchandising, or licensing.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator with good concept development skills.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour, layout, and visual presentation.
• Good sense of market trends and ability to create commercially appealing product designs.
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills when working with licensors, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full product development process from initial concept and design direction through sampling, production, and launch.
• Develop creative product concepts that align with consumer trends, brand positioning, commercial objectives, and retail requirements.
• Translate design ideas into practical and marketable products, taking into consideration aesthetics, functionality, production feasibility, and cost.
• Create product artwork, packaging designs, production files, and other supporting creative materials.
• Manage multiple product projects, development timelines, samples, revisions, and deliverables across different product categories.
• Conduct product and market research to support new ideas, product innovation, and range development.
• Develop and adapt licensed artwork according to brand guidelines, licensing requirements, and approval processes.
• Coordinate artwork submissions, amendments, and approvals with licensors and brand partners.
• Ensure consistency in brand presentation across products, packaging, retail materials, and promotional assets.
• Work closely with buyers, merchandising teams, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the product development cycle.
• Follow up on samples, artwork changes, production requirements, and delivery timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Support the development of POS materials, in-store displays, promotional materials, product launch visuals, and retail marketing assets
• Contribute creative ideas for seasonal campaigns, product launches, merchandising activities, and brand expansion initiatives.
