A leading company in fintech is seeking a Product Designer to shape and enhance their digital platform. Your expertise in design tools like Figma, together with a strong portfolio, will play a crucial role in defining the company's product strategy and success.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Product Designer who thrives at the intersection of design, business, systems and data. You will take ownership of the end-to-end customer experience, with the mindset of a product owner and the rigor of a business analyst. Beyond design execution, you’ll dive deep into user and system behaviour, uncover strategic insights from data, and work cross-functionally to shape the future of our digital platform.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end product design from discovery, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, to delivery and validation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate customer needs, business goals, and technical requirements into user-centric designs.
Conduct competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
Develop journey maps, flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI using design tools like Figma.
Partner with developers to ensure designs and requirements are accurately implemented and user experience standards are met.
Use data (analytics, behavioural insight, A/B testing) to inform and refine design solutions.
Advocate for consistent design language, accessibility, and usability best practices across all platforms.
Contribute to and evolve a design system and design operations within the team.
Frame business and customer problems with clarity—translate complex requirements into actionable design and product opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define hypotheses, success metrics, and customer KPIs.
Partner with Product Analysts to analyze behavioral data (e.g., drop-off points, heatmaps, session recordings) to drive informed design decisions.
Partner with Business Analysts, QA and software development team for project delivery.
Prioritize design work with a lean, test-and-learn approach—focusing on MVPs and quick iterations that deliver business value.
Contribute to product strategy with customer-focused perspectives and help shape roadmap initiatives with quantifiable impact.
Requirements and skills:
BSc in Design, Computer Science or a related field.
Has experience in UI/UX design relating to both mobile apps and web apps.
Has relevant product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating user-centric design thinking and execution.
Strong analytical ability with proven strength in suggesting creative solutions and innovative ideas with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing user needs with business constraints.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Evaluate and recommend solutions or systems that meet business needs.
Have empathy towards users and problem statements and possess problem-solving and entrepreneur mindset.
Proficiency in design tools Figma and prototyping tools.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, React/Angular knowledge is a bonus).
Ability to work in agile product development cycles and collaborate cross-functionally.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that the solution meets requirements.
Contribute to change management and training materials for successful implementation.
Experience in fintech or regulated environments is a strong advantage.
