The Role

Lead a team passionate about designing intuitive experiences using prototyping, empathy, research, and a test & learn mindset. Coach designers and partners to empathize with customer problems, diagnose them with data, and address them through design.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of designers, promote best practices, and ensure delivery against business KPIs and customer needs.
• Coach the team to utilize established design systems, style guides, patterns, and assets for UX deliverables.
• Create customer-centric, user-friendly features in collaboration with product and development teams.
• Deliver top-tier product designs focusing on Tala's native mobile app for end-users.
• Produce design assets such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
• Manage projects beyond the immediate roadmap, working with stakeholders to identify and solve user problems for durable solutions.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Experience working with Design Systems and designing at a system level.
• Proficiency in usability research, requirements gathering, and translating insights into design solutions.
• Fluency in Figma; experience with other UX/UI tools is a bonus.
