Job summary

Molex Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Product Design Engineer to design our high-speed interconnect solutions for customers worldwide.

You will lead design activities from concept to production using a defined Product Development Process. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, strong CAD/PLM skills (Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Polarion), and collaboration across time zones. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred).
• Experience with advanced parametric 3D CAD systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design from concept to production with a defined Product Development Process.
• Provide engineering support for modifications, cost reductions, and manufacturing improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Generate design specifications and proposals meeting customer requirements.
• Drive development of new product ideas for high-speed interconnects.
• Provide technical consultation to Sales or Marketing on design matters.
• Visit customers, ODMs, and CMs to support product and manufacturing activities.
