Key Responsibilities
- Ensure product certification compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of product certification status.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and updates.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, government bodies, and external partners.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Area of Responsibility
1. Product Certification and Compliance
- Manage product certification process for local sale, ensuring timely submission of registration,
modification, and renewal.
- Communicate between factories and government agencies to resolve incorrect/missing
supporting documents.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of product certification status.
2. Regulatory Compliance and Updates
- Stay informed about regulatory updates and changes, participating in consultations and
briefings.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and communicate regulatory information internally and to
government bodies.
- Monitor regulatory sources and email notices for updates.
3. Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in annual reporting preparation for E-waste and Packaging data.
- Assist in information requests and surveillance exercises by government bodies.
- Communicate between relevant stakeholders and government bodies to identify if certification is
required for product new features.
4. Miscellaneous Support
- Provide assistance to the team or department on an ad-hoc basis, completing tasks and projects as assigned or necessary.
