Job description

Role Title: Product Controller (Recent Graduate)

Department: Product Control

Office location: Singapore

Overview of the team/department:

The Product Control department is responsible for the production, analysis, publication, and control of official daily P&L for all BlueCrest funds at a Portfolio Manager, Desk, and Fund level. It also oversees monthly NAV production and the distribution of statements to investors.


The department has approximately twenty-four employees across three offices (London, New York, and Singapore), focusing on product control and valuation control of all major asset classes, with the goal of developing innovative approaches for best-in-class control of the business.


Role requirements:

This role is an integral part of the Product Control team, focusing on the daily and month-end P&L process. Responsibilities include:

  • Producing daily P&L across various trading desks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
  • Owning the month-end NAV finalization process related to P&L, including valuation verification.
  • Handling ad hoc information requests from Portfolio Managers, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Participating in process improvement and broader transformation initiatives within Product Control.
Experience required:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Near completion or completed a numerate-focused degree with at least a second class upper or higher.
  • A strong desire to gain experience in Fixed Income derivative and securities products.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Strong academic background from a top-tier institution.
  • Experience with MS Excel.

Desirable, but not essential, experience includes:

  • Experience with visualization tools, ETL tools, and/or Python.
