Job summary

SD Legal in Singapore is recruiting a Legal Counsel (Products, Commercial & IP) for a global technology platform. The role embeds with product teams, advising on features, data, and IP implications from ideation to launch.

You'll split your time 40% on product work, 30% on commercial matters, and 30% on IP and strategic initiatives, collaborating with sales, marketing, and APAC teams. The ideal candidate has 4–7 PQE, Tier 1 education and law firm credentials, and a track record in IP, commercial

Qualifications

• 4–7 PQE and Tier 1 education credentials.
• Background in IP, commercial transactions and products.
• Experience supporting product, sales, and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with product teams to advise on features, data, and IP implications from ideation to launch.
• Draft and negotiate cross-border commercial agreements in APAC.
• Protect IP across patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets; support long-term IP strategy.
• Coordinate with in-country counsel and external vendors across APAC to allocate resources and address regulatory challenges.
