Job description
  • Position : Product Assistant (Events/Gift/Purchasing)
  • Location : Jurong East
  • Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 9.00AM to 6.00PM
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,500 Basic + AWS + Performance Bonus + 12 Days Annual Leave
  • Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and liaise with suppliers during initial product development.
  • Assist in the development and introduction of new products and services to enhance event offerings.
  • Support in identifying trends and innovative solutions for product improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs related to product workflows.
  • Place approved products into catalogues for client and internal use.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new products into operations.
  • Prepare product write-ups, pricing sheets, and catalogues based on manager’s input.
  • Coordinate with marketing for photos, layouts, and visuals.
  • Handle procurement paperwork and vendor onboarding.
  • Liaise with vendors for sample requests, product details, and pricing.
  • Track project deliverables, ensuring timelines and approvals are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing or a related field.
  • 1 year experience in product development, procurement, or event operations preferred.
  • FULL TRAINING PROVIDED
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese associates who can converse in Mandarin only
