Job summary

WSA is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics Product Architecture Design intern to help turn concepts into practical designs, prototypes and validated engineering solutions through CAD, hands-on prototyping, testing and data-driven evaluation.

You will conceptualize ideas, design components and sub-assemblies for hearing aids and accessories, assist engineers in project execution, prototype samples for evaluation, test performance and compile test outcomes into clear reports.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Knowledge or experience with CAD software: Creo, Solidworks or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing (e.g., 3D printing, machining, assembly).

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize new ideas and develop them.
• Design components and sub-assemblies for hearing aids / accessories using CAD software.
• Assist engineers in project execution and benchmarking.
• Coordinate, prototype samples and assemble them for evaluation.
• Test prototypes or new materials for performance and reliability.
• Analyze data and compile test outcome into reports.
