Job description

We are seeking a Producer/Editor, Video Content to play a pivotal role in the hands-on creation and production of engaging video content for our lifestyle and entertainment app in Singapore. This position is ideal for a skilled editor with strong production capabilities who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Video Production & Editing:

• Execute the full post-production workflow for video content, including editing, sound mixing, basic colour correction, and graphics.

• Operate video cameras and production equipment for in-house shoots as required.

• Manage and organise ` raw footage, project files, and final deliverables efficiently.

• Ensure all produced content adheres to high technical and quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with the Team Lead, Video Content to translate creative briefs into compelling visual narratives.

b) Content Execution & Delivery

• Implement the app/platform’s video content strategy by producing and editing a consistent volume of video content.

• Ensure all content meets production quality standards and is delivered on time and within budget.

• Prepare and export video files in various formats optimized for digital platforms.

• Maintain compliance with brand guidelines and messaging in all video outputs.

c) Technical & Creative Contribution:

• Provide creative input during the editing process to enhance visual storytelling and engagement.

• Stay updated with current video editing software, trends, and techniques.

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to video production and post-production.

• Contribute ideas for visual treatments and editing styles.

d) Collaboration & Support:

• Work effectively with internal teams, including content creators, marketing, and social engagement, to facilitate smooth content flow.

• Support the Team Lead, Video Content and other team members with hands-on production and editing assistance.

• Assist in coordinating logistical aspects for shoots when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

• Do note that this is a freelance position for 3 months.

• Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Film, Media Arts, or a related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in video production and professional editing, ideally in a digital media or agency environment.

• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).

• Demonstrable experience with camera operation, lighting, and audio recording for video production.

• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse video editing work for digital platforms.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

• A keen eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and detail.

• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of the Singaporean and Southeast Asian digital content landscape is a plus.
