Une entreprise leader dans le secteur de la gestion des déchets recherche un Procurement Specialist pour améliorer l'efficacité de ses processus d'achat. Le candidat jouera un rôle clé dans la mise en œuvre des stratégies d'approvisionnement, gérant efficacement les relations avec les fournisseurs tout en garantissant le respect des normes de qualité et de durabilité. Ce poste exige une expertise en négociation et une solide compréhension des opérations d'approvisionnement.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our purchasing processes. This role will be instrumental in executing the company’s overall procurement strategies and policies to ensure smooth and value-driven procurement operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and execute procurement activities related to both direct and indirect purchases, including technical/engineering services, plant equipment, spare parts, and materials required for efficient manufacturing operations.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to plan, forecast, and manage procurement needs and future requirements.
Prepare procurement budgets, cost analyses, and performance reports.
Develop procurement plans for equipment, spare parts, and repair/maintenance services.
Review, compare, and evaluate products and services for quality, value, and compliance before approval.
Source and assess suppliers to ensure they meet organizational needs and performance expectations.
Lead negotiations and secure supply contracts with favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Issue and manage purchase orders based on finalized supplier agreements.
Collaborate with the Finance department and suppliers to resolve any issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, or payments.
Maintain and develop strong supplier relationships while improving supply chain resilience.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on criteria such as sustainability, quality, reliability, lead time, and value.
Drive long-term partnerships and uphold ethical sourcing practices.
Contribute to the implementation and improvement of e-procurement systems (preferred).
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
Proven skills in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and procurement operations.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in implementing or managing e-procurement systems will be an advantage.
