Job summary

COSL DRILLING PAN-PACIFIC LTD. is seeking a Procurement professional in Singapore to coordinate the procurement of rig supplies and services, manage purchase orders, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.

The role requires familiarity with rig equipment, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment. The successful candidate will work closely with rig teams, logistics, and suppliers, travel as needed, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Familiarity with supplies and equipment used on a rig.
• Mechanical and interpersonal skills to coordinate with vendors and crew.
• Experience on a rig or with a manufacturer or distributor is desirable.
• College degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to multitask in a high-stress environment and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and maintain procurement of capital and expense goods and services.
• Solicit competitive proposals from qualified suppliers.
• Determine lowest total cost solution.
• Develop, maintain and manage purchase orders.
• Coordinate purchase process, negotiation and release of purchase orders.
• Support the supplier audit process.
• Serve as the procurement liaison between rig and vendor(s).
• Coordinate communication between rig and vendors for correct goods.
• Provide updates to assist operations, cost control and scheduling.
• Communicate effectively up and down the chain of command.
• Negotiate purchasing agreements.
• Coordinate with export packer / freight forwarder for export documentation.
• Expedite all open or past due purchase orders.
• Manage logistics for goods received, prepared for export and delivered to transport carriers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate, manage and maintain the procurement of capita land expense good and services.

• Coordinate communication between rig and vendors for clarification of correct goods to be furnished.
• Communicate updates to assist overall operations / project coordination, cost control and scheduling.
• Communicate effectively upward and downward.
• Negotiate purchasing agreements.
• Coordinate with export packer / freight forwarder to ensure accuracy of export documentation.
• Expedite all open or past due purchase orders.
• Manage the logistical process whereby goods are received, prepared for export and delivered to AIR or OCEAN transport carriers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Familiarity with supplies and equipment used on a rig
• Mechanical, interpersonal, and good communication skills
• Experience on a rig or with a manufacturer or distributor
• College degree preferred
• Ability to multi-task and work in a high stress environment
• Willing to travel
• Knowledge of key industry suppliers
