Job Scope:
Responsible for the overall business performance of the assigned brand & product categories through effective sourcing and buying planning.
Act as lead communicator across business functions to achieve sales targets and financial and stock objectives.
Ensure that the right stock level is maintained to achieve sales, financial, and stock objectives through regular delivery adjustments.
Stay informed of major market opportunities and develop strategic and competitive plans to ensure and maintain a leadership position.
Potentially travel to visit principals, vendors, and suppliers and maintain effective relationships with them.
Establish and maintain a formal vendor development, assessment, and grading system.
Develop new supply sources where vendors are inadequate.
Review and analyze consumption patterns of our customers.
Prepare the initial standard allocation of the product and regularly update the standard allocation based on consumption patterns.
Drive, track, and update aging inventory and prepare price reduction recommendations in line with forecasted reduction budget for reviews with management to reduce inventory risk.
Procurement of soft and hard goods for the retail operation.
Responsible for achieving the lowest procurement cost, highest vendor performance, and consistent product/service quality.
