Description

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee our procurement operations in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to develop strategic supplier relationships especially in Construction Industry. This role will be critical in ensuring we achieve our procurement objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative and cost-effective.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best terms and pricing.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding procurement activities.
  • Oversee warehouse and inventory management processes to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for project requirements.
  • Conduct periodic review of existing vendors, provide and execute recommendations to ensure vendor performance on pricing, quality and delivery.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies, and supplier evaluation techniques.
