Job summary

Job description

Supplier Management & Sourcing

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with tyre manufacturers across Asia (e.g., China, Thailand, Vietnam).
  • Source competitive pricing, favourable terms, and minimum order quantities (MOQs).
  • Maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews and factory audits.

???? Product Development & Quality Control

  • Collaborate with internal teams to define tyre specifications, pattern designs, construction, and product lines based on market and sales insights.
  • Manage prototype development, internal testing, third-party certifications, and final product approvals.

Order & Inventory Management

  • Plan and process tyre orders aligned with sales forecasts and MOQ requirements.
  • Monitor production and shipment timelines to ensure on-time stock availability.
  • Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to execute end-to-end order fulfillment.

Mould Management

  • Maintain a registry of all proprietary tyre moulds across different manufacturers.
  • Plan and track production cycles and mould usage to maximize ROI and extend mould lifespan.
  • Ensure proper mould storage, preventive maintenance, and initiate refurbishment or replacement when needed.

Costing & Performance Analysis

  • Maintain accurate product cost sheets including landed costs, freight, duties, and margins.
  • Analyse sales performance and pricing competitiveness; propose cost-saving measures.

Other Duties

  • Manage procurement team
  • Must be willing to travel if there is a need to (NOT FREQUENT)
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
