Job summary

A prominent LED lighting company in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relations and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in procurement, along with strong negotiation skills and proficiency in Mandarin. You will be responsible for sourcing LED suppliers, conducting factory inspections, and coordinating procurement efforts with the local team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in the LED lighting industry.
• Familiar with Chinese manufacturing processes and quality assurance procedures.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate LED lighting suppliers and manufacturers.
• Conduct factory visits and quality inspections to ensure products meet standards.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery timelines with vendors.
• Coordinate with the Singapore team on procurement plans, stock forecasts, and project timelines.
• Track orders, manage shipping schedules, and resolve delivery issues.
• Prepare monthly procurement reports and pricing analysis.
• Support product development by identifying new lighting technologies and components.
