Procurement Manager

To manage all procurement requirements including both strategic and tactical activities related to raw materials and finished goods at optimum pricing and delivery terms.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
2. Coordinate with the Supplier Quality, Business and related other functional leaders to establish executive relationships to enable the company to accomplish Business goals.
3. Formulate and execute strategic plans: To source, negotiate and purchase materials and services from identified and reliable sources, locally and overseas.
4. Ensure supply and optimal cost to meet overall business targets.
5. Negotiate price or supply agreements with strategic suppliers across regions.
6. Work closely with international counterparts to achieve global strategies and initiatives.
7. Improve procurement performance in terms of cost savings, supplier sustainability & sourcing process: Continuous effort to improve payment terms & decrease turnaround times.
8. Develop, review, and improve purchasing processes to maintain the efficiency of operations.
9. Liaise with peers or other global functional support colleagues to seek opportunities for collaborative integration.
10. Execute and collaborate with Internal Audit & Finance team on transactional Purchasing related responsibilities: Ensure that controls are in place and supervise Purchasing processes to ensure compliance.
11. Participate in cost variance analysis and related action activities.
12. Update the market landscape related to industry events, materials, services and innovations.
13. Support company EHS and Quality initiatives.
14. Participate in other tasks, assignments and projects as delegated by Business Director.
15. Lead and evaluate the work of Procurement team reports.

Requirement:

1. Degree in a related Procurement and Supply Management and/or Logistics and Supply Chain.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Procurement or Purchasing Manager.
3. Travelling to countries in Asia region is expected for this role.
