About the Role


We are seeking a full-time Procurement Manager to join Morimatsu Pharmadule (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support the company's construction operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and a deep understanding of construction-related procurement processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out corresponding procurement work according to the company's business needs and procurement regulations, procedures and processes.

  • Responsible for reviewing and evaluating suppliers’ quotations including design proposals, engineering materials, equipment, and construction subcontracting projects,and selecting the best ones.

  • Developing supply channels and negotiating supply contracts according to project requirements.

  • Responsible for communication and coordination with design, construction, on-site, and suppliers, as well as handling quality issues.

  • Responsible for verifying and signing orders/contracts with suppliers, completing project settlements, and cooperating with progress managers to manage the materials’ arrival status and material acceptance.

  • Establish and improve a database of supplier resources and price information, regularly summarize project procurement reports and analysis, and complete project summary.

  • You shall serve the Company faithfully, diligently and discharge the full duties/responsibilities as expected of your position and such other duties, as may be assigned to you by your superior from time to time.

Role Requirements (Must-Have Skills)

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the Construction industry

  • Proven ability to negotiate favourable commercial terms with suppliers

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Proficient in the use of procurement systems and tools

  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards

  • It’s a plus if Mandarin speaking and writing fluently

  • May require overtime work or weekend inspections depending on site progress.
